Christina Aguilera was born in 1980 and is an iconic American pop star, actress, and dancer. She was first discovered on the program Star Search and that appearance stemmed into her role on The Mickey Mouse Club. Aguilera's first album produced hits like 'Genie in a Bottle' and 'What a Girl Wants', her famous voice was also used for Disney classics such as the song 'Reflection' from the film Mulan. She grew up alongside other iconic pop artists like Britney Spears and Justim Timberlake, but they all had very different career paths. Aguilera's image dramatically changed from what most saw as America's Sweetheart to something most parents were afraid of their children seeing. In 2002 her album Stripped was released, and along with it came a much more sexually provocative and raunchy Aguilera. At this point her infamous music video for her song Dirty came out which raised eyebrows all over the world, and she also posed nude for Rolling Stones magazine. Although she may have lost a certain fan base, she gained others and had more creative control over her career. In 2005 she married Jordan Bratman, and she went on to give birth to their first (and only) son Max in 2008. After a long period of time out of the spotlight, she released her fourth album named Bionic in summer 2010 and it was a complete bomb. On October 14, 2010 she filed for divorce from her husband- maybe now her music will get better.
